[P. réf. à Cant., VII, 1] Femme séduisante, aimée d'un amour sensuel et profond. Les rois sages avec leurs trois cents sulamites (HUGO, Légende, t. 4, 1877, p. 565). On pardonne aux mères défiantes, aux oncles traîtres, aux Samaritaines et aux Sulamites (ADAM, Enf. Aust., 1902, p. 501).
